You can only travel with your CoPR if you use a personal vehicle to enter Canada. The only reasonable way to do this is to drive or walk across the US border. If you want to get on a commercial carrier (aircraft, bus, train, bus, ship etc.), You would need a travel document; a PR card or a PRTD.Yes I did, they are still thinking about it. Meanwhile, I need to know if there is any way I can travel with my copr. My open work permit is still valid until March 2018. Can i use the trv/work permit to travel back to Canada in case I have already done the landing before leaving Canada?
After you land as a PR, your previously held visas and permits become invalid. You cannot use those to travel.
