My name is Abdulrahman I'm an Iraqi guy. I'm 20 years old and I'm a homosexual.
I don't have an immigration office to go to and I wondered wether I can apply for an asyulm in the airport without getting a visa regarding my sexual orientation and just fly right away to Canada.
Noticing that I'm not financially able to afford traveling to another country and apply for asylum there.
Looking forward for a response.

No, you can’t.

There are 2 ways to claim asylum in Canada. One is to obtain a TRV to travel to Canada and claim asylum on arrival or after you have arrived at IRCC offices. TRV can not be processed at airports.

The other choice is to move out of Iraq, claim asylum with the UNHCR, be accepted as a refugee and then wait for a country to accept you. There is no guarantee it will be Canada.

Assuming that you are not already in Canada, you will not be able to legally get here without a visa. You can only claim asylum once you get here or via the "other country" method, of which you are obviously already aware.

Being homosexual alone is not ground for asylum claim. You would have prove, that your life was in danger and that your country failed to protect you.
Strong evidence proof is needed.
And no, general evidence of the situation in Iraq and the hurdle ship of your community is not going to be enough. You need to have your personal evidence (police reports, medical reports...)

Let me share a true story. Last year I have attended a wedding ceremonies. 2 sisters got married with 2 Iraqi guys over phone and finally their husbands came here and it was their reception. Funny thing is, those sister came to Canada as visitor 6 years ago. They called themselves lesbian couple and somehow managed fake parent's name on their passports and also married each other (sisters). They asked for asylum on airport. After PR then they became citizen got divorced after then married 2 boys from Iraq.
I am not sure how they live their life like this. Death is much more better than this sh0it

PMM, you got his story wrong. He simply just saying that they got married over the phone, and it was probably true, and then the two boys came to Canada to have the ceremony. The two boys could come to Canada on TRV or any other type of visa, and were not necessary came here through spousal sponsorship.
