Hi everyone!
Can anyone help me please
I am a PR going to sponsor my spouse through outland application.
How long is it acceptable for me to leave canada to see him for vacation? I know that PR must be living in Canada to sponsor. But what about vacation? Lets say 1-2 months. Thank you so much!

Vacation is not a problem. But u should have submit T4 form. If u are working other country is problem
Post this question where senior members can see. I don't know the answer definitely but I would be concerned 1 to 2 months would be too long as
a PR in Canada sponsoring.
Although CIC doesn't set forth of a rule for determine how long is too long for the situation like yours, in general, we believe less than a month is about fine, anything longer than that you are risking your application to be denied.

Nothing yet. I believe they're working on mid November applications still. Last update I saw was Nov 14th received AOR at the beginning of last week. So within one or two weeks we should start to get AOR for December.

Ya could be. But i am wondering that only few people updated. Is it means very less people applied on December?
That is a million dollars question that nobody can answer. There are thousands upon thousands applicants applied in December probably don't know this website, and not every applicants on this forum applied in December will response this thread, some people may just read and not post anything. So, yes, it may be less, but you never know.

Where did you see that? I'm following the November thread on here and it looks like they've only gone up to Nov. 24 thus far. Spreadsheet seems to say the same. Perhaps I've missed something...
But at least there's some movement! Good luck to all you December applicants. I had hoped to be with you, but I'm mid-January now thanks to some foot-dragging.
Hey how are you, so I saw this on the Facebook group. A woman had posted that she's a Nov 30th applicant and that she got her AOR that day. I hope it wont be too much longer for you. I always wonder how they go about their processing and the order they do it in...
evdm - Ok, so I have just realized that the Nov 30 AOR was for inland not outland. I'm assuming they might have different processing times than outland. Sorry, didn't mean to make you feel concerned.
