yes it is! Also got Medical requests today too. We had done them in February last year when they were still requiring them to be done in advance, so yay....we get to pay out the nose for another set of medical exams.

it's been a long road. We had submitted our initial application using the old set of forms but they returned them and requested the new set instead. We submitted the new set and they returned the application again because one signature was missing. So the approved application was received in July 2017. As for the VO, I'm not sure. According to the email I got from Ottawa today, the app is still in Mississauga.

Gah. My background check has been in progress for a month now. Mississauga VO seems to be moving fairly quickly, don’t know where the stall is with my file. Feeling frustrated.

at this point your bgc could take from 1 day to few months. but it seems like they are doing it very fast so probably you will hear from them soon.
