Wanted to give a quick update. Even though, today is technically a federal holiday, our credit cards were charged. Our application was received on October 2, 2017. Either they have an overzealous employee working through the week or we just got lucky. Either way, keep watching your CC charges for today as well.

Did apply for fbi clearance. Just curios, was volentary deported 15 years ago because of problem with visum. Agent didnt update info when we moved to different employer. Will that be a problem on the fbi clearance?

Apply for FBI PCC > Don't get it before deadline. Just kidding.

If you don't get it by deadline, just upload an LOE (letter of explanation) along with proof that you have applied (like shipping receipt, tracking number, tracking history) in the place of the FBI PCC and submit your application. They will then give you an extension for uploading the FBI PCC.

Thanks. Still two things to clarify: 1. Submit the proof via LOE not the PCC part right? 2. Do I need to specify that I need extension on the LOE? or CIC will give me the extension automatically after they see the proof Thanks again.

Yes. In the LOE section. I also added the LOE for PCC in the PCC section (extra cautious, I am).LOE is mandatory (with proofs - only proofs may not work).

I am applying from India with PCC from FBI still awaited. Just wanted to know how can I make the payment while submitting the AOR. I tried my indian debit card which failed. Just wanted to know what other applicants from India did.
Would online banking (interac) for one of the indian banks - HDFC, ICICI work?

Just activate your debit or credit card of any bank for international usage and then it will work.

Yes, just a short letter explaining when you sent the application out (and how) as well as when its expected. Attach the proofs to this and upload as a single PDF.
