Hi

My wife and I will soon be applying for our PR application under the CEC program. I am sitting for my IELTS next week and she has already given hers. I have completed one year of NOC B job while recently moved to Canada and is doing a NOC C job. I will be the primary applicant. I just want to know on the total cost for the PL application please minus the Ielts fee as I have already paid for it. So far our points come to 470 if I get all 7 in my IELTS exam. So hoping for the best.

But please, let me know on the total cost please which includes the medical fee and all.

Also, I will be taking a PCC from Bangladesh for both my wife and I. Just wanted to know if I have to take one from Canada as well since I have been here for the past 5 years now.

Thank you!!

Hi
But please, let me know on the total cost please which includes the medical fee and all.
Processing fee $550 each, RPRF fee 490 each, total $2,080.

Medical exam fee is not fixed, you have to contact the panel physician's office for fee information.

No. PCC from Canada is not required, unless/until IRCC asks for it later.

Wow. That was a quick reply and I am overwhelmed on how people help each other here. So 980 each for the PR fee? Or 980 altogether?
So I have to pay 2200 upfront when I upload my documents?

Also, my wife graduated from Bangladesh but I am not claiming any points for it. Should I write a LOE that we are not claiming points for it?

Let me know please!!

Thanks

Thank you so much.

What is RPRF fee?
There are two fees that must be paid, one is the processing fee ($550 for you + $550 for your spouse) AND the RPRF ($490 for you and $490 for your spouse).

The processing fee must be paid when submitting your application.

The right of permanent residence fee (RPRF) can be paid when submitting your application OR when they ask you for it during the processing of your application.

Thank you for your kind reply. Is there a link with a checklist? I am just nervous and for that I might be asking for stupid questions :(

Actually that link was helpful. So a total of 1040 is required!!
Total $1040 for you - plus $1040 for your spouse.

For the medicals you mean? Yes, they are valid for a year.

By applying you mean creating a profile? If so then no issues.

Thanks again. So I actually booked in for a medial on the 10th of Feb. I will be creating profile for me and my wife around the 15th of Feb. The medical office told me if I am doing upfront medical then I need to get a paper from them and upload it on our profile. Is it true?

A paper from whom? The clinic or IRCC (CIC)?

After doing your upfront medical the clinic does indeed gives you an e-medical sheet which you must upload in the document checklist section once you receive your ITA.
