Hello,
I have not claimed any points of my wife education, I got the ITA, I have stated that I will sponsor my wife later on from canada. Will I need to upload their medicals, PCC and passports when applying for visa or not ?
(I dont think it make sense as PCC would expire in 6 months and medical in a year.) Anyone who applied got PPR like this?

Hey, if you have an ITA without claiming any points for your wife you can still apply for her PR as a dependent. If you choose to apply for sponsorship later when you are in Canada the processing time is more than a year and not a guarantee that she will have a visa. Another thing, visa office may also think at that time why you didnt apply for your wife PR with you initially as a dependent and case may get anywhere.

Medicals and PCC is only required when dependents are applying for PR at the same time as you.

Hello,

the information you upload depends on the profile you have created. Have you currently stated that you will migrate alone to Canada? if so, you need to upload your info. if you dont want to claim points for your wife but still if she will accompany u to Canada you will need to upload her Medical as well as PCC info upfront.

Hi faizan776,
Regardless of your reasons for not wanting your wife to accompany you right away, you are required to upload PCCs and medicals for your spouse and dependents, even if they are not accompanying you right away. Since approving your PR would make your spouse and dependents eligible for sponsorship in the future, your eligibility now is dependent on their eligibility, so PCCs and medicals are needed for them now to assess their current criminal and medical admissibility. See link below from IRCC's website regarding the medical (I can't find the link regarding the PCCs right now, but the principle is the same).

No worries :) This process involves so much information that it would be difficult for all of us to know everything about it - that's what this forum is for!
