Enter from US by car with visitor visa about to expire

Hello everyone,

I’m living in the US waiting for my immigrant visa to arrive. I have a wedding in Canada in April 2018 but my Canadian visitor visa will expire June 1st 2018.
Will I be able to enter Canada to attend the wedding with my about to expire visa or should I apply for a new one?

PS.: I already have all the documentation (Advanced Parole) to enter and leave the US with no problems.

Thank you! I was worried because I heard that the visa must be 3 or 6 months valid from when you enter.
