Have a slight problem here, my employer gave me reference letter and put that I worked average of 25-30 hours, when I first started they said my hours would be 27.5 hours a week, I worked there for 1 year and 10 months, my pay stubs doesn’t show hours worked, and I can’t find that offer letter that they gave me mentioning the 27.5 hours a week, is that reference letter enough for cic or would I need more proof to show them ??
I also no longer work there and I tried calling HR but no response

If you have worked in Canada then if possible, try to get Record of employment from Service Canada. It may help. or May be you can directly register on the website and check it using your SIN number.

I don't know if I'm right, but if you are trying to count part-time job I think you can't count more than 15 hours per week in a part-time job.

No, that is not correct. IRCC provides an example using 15 hours per week, but that is ONLY one example that shows how to calculate the full-time equivalent. It is not restrictive.

In addition to the ROE - do your paystubs show the hourly rate? If so, it is a simple calculation to determine hours worked...

My pay stubs doesn’t show any hours, neither does the roe, just saw the roe today, i might have to get a letter from direct supervisor since neither roe or pay stubs show hours worked ?

I asked if the paystubs showed the hourly rate, not hours... If the VO knows the hourly rate, then they can divide total earnings by hourly rate to get the total # hours - so can you.

In any case, nothing wrong with a letter from a direct supervisor.

Pay stub doesn’t show hourly rate, all it shows is the salary so it’s hard to do that calculation without pay stub showing hourly rate

That’s why I was thinking of going straight to direct supervisor, options are limited atm

But say in any case if I can’t letter from direct supervisor and roe and pay stubs doesn’t show any kind of hours, what would you suggest I do ?
