Changing Province before hearing

Hello.

I am in Ontario and want to move to Montreal, Quebec. My hearing was in September and it got postponed, I am waiting to finish my hearing before relocating but I don't know how long it might take to have a new date.

So instead of waiting for unknown period of time, is it wise to just move?
Will it delay my hearing even more?
Will I lose my legal aid assistance?

Any thoughts would be helpful.

Thanks.

They seem to be pulling staff from other parts of the country and other processes to deal with the backlog in Quebec. Moving elsewhere may not improve the wait time, as those locations may now be short staffed.

No matter where you go there will be a long wait. The system is overstretched. Read in the news that the allocation of extra resources to Quebec has already ended.

Last time I listened on Radio here in US, there are only 150 immigration judges in the entire of Canada. So you guys can figure how bad the backlog will be.
