Hi,

I spend last summer in Canada on a work visa. In my free time, I took some private art classes. I really loved the art teachers there and would like to go back this summer only to take art classes with them again. I plan to stay 4-5 weeks.

When I apply for visitor's visa is it OK to state that my purpose for visiting is travel/vacation and taking private art classes? I am concerned who the "taking art classes" will be perceived by the immigration officers.

Thank You,
Nikola

If the studies you plan to complete are less than six months - then it's fine to do this on a visitor visa.

Yes, they are flexible because these are private classes. I will not be getting a certificate or anything. I am taking them for pleasure.
