what do your guys' background status on gc key say?

I’m a July applicant and application status says just the same thing.
However my GCkey says “We do not need any additional documents”
And for Background check it says Not Applicable.
I don’t get this

It will be the same for most of the July applicants. I am in the same boat and have the same status. Don't worry
Looking at current pattern, it may take next 2 months to change the BGC status or earlier if we are lucky!!

umm I am thinking since some April have started to get some DM's, us May will most likely see some BGC started in the last week of Jan and through out FEB and March.. and the rest of the months will follow accordingly. Lets see what happens!

just now saw this in one of the other thread.. one applicant sent application on 10th January and received AOR on 12th from CPC Mississauga. seems like they have made the process faster this year.. last year i got the AOR after long wait of 1 month....

I was just looking at 2017 spreadsheet filtered for New Delhi and it seems NDVO is selecting one or two applicants from every month's applications for pilot project (fast track approval). May, June and July months has at least 1 applicant got PPR at very early stage compared to others for whom even BGC is not started yet!!

us 2017 are the guinea pigs, we are suffering.. watch starting this year or next year the process will be done in 6-7 months! lol

oh okay saw it.. wow that is rather quick. interesting! however, CPC/CIC has always been timely its the local visa offices that are the problem. let's see what happens this year.

Hello friends, I sponsored my wife. File was processed by SGVO. Immediately after she got MR, we became parents. Her medical was partially done since she was due in a week. Now I contacted CIC and they told me to fill up 2 forms for my baby among which I believe 1 is required. I need some clarification on below questions (highlighted red). I quote their email with my questions:

To do so, we invite you to complete the following forms and mail them to the Case Processing Centre (CPC) in Mississauga, Ontario:

- A new Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking form (IMM 1344) completed by the sponsor,
Is my baby the principal applicant on this form?
Your Answer:
Does my wife require to sign on page -1, section 3 (Co-Signer)?
Your Answer:
Person you are sponsoring (PA)- Is this my child's name?
Your Answer:
Signature on Page 6 (last page) - If my baby is the principal applicant what can I do in this signature field?
Your Answer:

- (If the application is still at the CPC in Mississauga) A new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) with supporting documents,
My wife was the principal applicant and the file was already processed at SGVO. Now I am just sponsoring my baby who is 1 month old. Does this form require to fill?

- (If you are adding a dependent child of a dependent child) A Financial Evaluation form (IMM 1283) with supporting documents,
This is not required

and

The add-on request including:

• your name, (Is this the sponsor's details or my wife's details who was the PA?)
• your client ID number/UCI, (Is this the sponsor's details or my wife's details who was the PA?)
• your file number, (Is this the sponsor's details or my wife's details who was the PA?)
• a detailed letter of explanation,
• a copy of the birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of common-law relationship, and
• if applicable, the proof of payment.

Application recieved: Feb 23
AOR 1: March 7
SA : May 25
AOR 2: June 19
BGC started: Jan 11
DM: Jan 12.
