You can tell passport is delivered by tracking the envelope you sent to CIC ottawa.
And keep an eye on CIC, it will change from "submitted" to "approved"
and you copy the tracking code of the sending back envelope, it will be trackable after activated.

Just did landing at peace arch surrey
Went to US near gas station fill up tank came back to Canada (didn't want to take US entry refusal)
15 mint max at Canadian side
Just normal questions both side

Congratulations. I'm going to border in the morning. I just wanted to know that do I need to have a US visa for that? Even though I have that visa too but it's on my old passport. And what should I bring there with me?

U don’t need USA visa to do flagpole u just let officer know that ur here for flagpole ... and if u have two passports MAKE SURE u bring all the passports u have ....u have to have all of ur passports with u all the time while traveling to USA...(same applies to flagpole) even any of them is canceled or anything...

I call CIC this morning they said your passport in printing room. Anyone have any idea how long they take to stamp.

you don't need to fill in anything. I just did my landing last night and I felt like the whole process was just like going to the supermarket, grab a bottle of juice, and wait at the cashier to pay for it. YES it's that easy

Guys, does anybody here who got the same email i have recieved last january 10,2018. Here is the email from cpc ctd ottawa:
Dear Applicant,

Your documents are now finalized and ready to be returned to you; however, to ensure your documents are safely returned to you, we would like to verify your mailing address. Please reply to this e-mail with your full mailing address, including apartment number (if applicable), so that we may send your documents.
Please help to know if it is a good sign or bad sign. Thank you and God bless.
