In the image, the checked mark.

Is it ok if we provide "E-mails" our family and friends wrote to us?
Do we need to print out the entire e-mail page or just the content is fine? (sorry im a bit specific here)

I heard 10 is fine, what other documents should we provide in this section?

We are almost finish our package and we are very nervous cause we dont want anything go wrong.

Thanks a lot in advance.

I assume your email address does not show both you and your spouse. You could take a screen shot of parts of the emails that show it is from your family and refers to you both. Put them together in a word document.

Most people take "letters from family and friends" to mean letters that your family and friends have wrote, specifically for your application, as letters of support.. Content being....to whom it may concern, we confirm X and Y are in a relationship, have been since xxxx, we often go out to dinner with them/we have been on vacation with them/they are great friends of ours etc etc.

I sent 3. All were different. Two from friends, one from family. I asked them to include a few things like where they first met us as a couple, how they know us... Then just gave them free reign after that.

I would include the letters/emails you are referring to too as they arent incorrect. Its just maybe doing the application specific letters may have more impact.

Oh and other documentation could be Facebook posts you have tagged each other in, your relationship status, posts from friends about you two etc.

I also included our AirBnB feedback page as it mentions both our names and trips we have taken.

I think that the checklist doesnt give too many examples. How many docs should be sent? few emails and few money transfers seems insufficient...
Any more idea for what can we send?

For my app, the part of family and friends recognising our relationship was like 30 pages.. I know probably TOO much.
But we took screenshots from instagram. Facebook. And we even showed that I am friends with his sister and parents and included messages that we sent back and forth. We also did the same thing for my husband with my parents.
We aren't listed as married on Facebook and never have been listed as in a relationship. Our preference. But we have many posts were we are tagged together.
We even included comments left by friends and family in some of our posts.

We struggled a bit with the finance part as we don't send each other money or have bills together. But we just explained that and included what we could.

There was no limit on this part of the checklist. So we just sent what we thought was appropriate.

I am a born white male Canadian citizen. This is my 2nd marriage and my second sponsorship.. I have been dealing with CIC for over 17 years and it is horrible.
This is not a simple question. There are no guidelines as to what they want. I spoke to a CIC agent and they could not tell me what they want.
Social media..?? what does that mean.
Letters from friends. ??? who sent and/or writes letters these days to discuss the marriage/relationship. Its all internet.. FACEBOOK, SKYPE, LINE.
In my case, I sent 20 photographs of the marriage ceremony with approx 50 invites.. The gouvernment marriage certificate which I required witnesses. Proof of my passport visits to her country multiple times. Financial support via bank statement transactions with her name and credit card expenses. I provided boarding passes.
When I visit her country (In this case Thailand), we rent a house. Therefore none of the electric bills and/or water bills have my or her name. Its all in the name of the property owner. I visit for a minimum of 2 months or more. I cannot afford to to establish 2 dwellings in 2 separate countries.
I completely understand CIC intentions of what they are requiring. I must admit I was mislead by my partner and her family in the 1st sponsorship which I somewhat regret that it ever happened. This time I tried to get a visa for my current spouse before we got married but they refused. So now I am in the process of family sponsorship application and it is very, very difficut to get CIC to help. I have been mislead, lied by agents. Some CIC agents do not know their job and/or have been poorly trained. The agent at CIC I spoke via the help line suggested maybe letters will to confirm the relationship. I said noone sent me letters and even if I could get some letters, will that resolve the isssue confirming the relationship. The agent responded that could not confirm it would resolve the issue.

I mailed my application Nov 10, 2017 and I it was returned to me Jan 10, 2018. I tried very carefully to provide all the necessary information. I started the process after we got married May, 2017. The Canadian Embassy and the Canadian CIC office are in 2 separate buildings in Bangkok. I needed assistance from both. The only thing the Canadian gouvernment could do for me was to send me a notary at the Canadian Embassy to sign an affadavit that I was eligble to marry again. I inquired before leaving Canada if I could get this done in Canada to which CIC said it was not possible and it had to be done in Thailand. Kinda absurd. Therefore Thailand CIC and Canadian Embassy kinda useless. Also the Canadian Embassy suggested a business to get my documents translated to which now one of the reasons my application was not processed, I need some kind of an affidavit from the translator that they are qualified to translate the documents.

There was a letter included with my returned application which referenced me to 3 CIC sites.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/dependants.asp
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor//spouse.asp

These sites do not work.

As I spoke to the CIC agent via the help line, the agent said they will send me the necessary sites for reference via my email.
Apparently my checklist was not the latest version according to the letter.

So I tried to get the updated checklist the agent provided in my email and the following is what I get

I never get the checklist document which is Oct 2017.

And I do have the latest version of Adobe reader because when I tried to get an update, it tells me I have the latest version.

I am at a loss as to what I can do to provide proof of our relationship.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The only thing i can help you with is that if you use internet explore you will not have problems with Adobe.

My girl is from Thailand too. Mind sharing info about getting married over there? what was the process and what was the issues?

It was returned because of the supposedly simple question being I did not provide documents confirming the relationship.!!!

Again I called to speak to another agent. And again they could not clarify which documents I could use to resolve the issue. Basically I was told to write a DETAILED explanation why I cannot provide any documents and yet will not guarantee to resolve the issue. Usually we are innocent until proven guilty. Seems quite the opposite here since I did provide others documents of my marriage..

Yes that one has the 10 page limit which we talk everyday as well. But we use whatsapp, telegram and facebook. And I also call him. I also sent him carepackages. I think that was the one were we also sent photos of cards we had given each other..
Anyways.. Yes we just took screenshots of different messages and put them in a word document. We fit about 4 photos to each page.
Some people on here say to show all aspects like the fights and normal talk and planning. But we didn't show any messages with the "fights" as we do that on the phone hahaha.
We just took some from the beginning, the middle and the end.. Just tried to show a time frame.

So was on of the reasons your app got sent back was because of the checklist not being the latest version?
