Hello Guys,

I am an AINP nominee and have already sent my documents for the permanent residency to the Sydney office. I have been waiting long enough as the provincial nominees usually to be taken 16 months (whole process).

So, while I was waiting for my permanent residency as a PNP applicant from the CIC, this morning I received an invitation to apply for permanent residency under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

They said:" We are writing to you about your Express Entry profile submission. Based on the information you provided us in your Express Entry profile, we are pleased to invite you to apply for permanent residence under the Canadian Experience Class. Below is the list of criteria upon which this invitation was based on:..."

The tricky part is that I never updated my profile after submission for the EE, and at the same when I submitted my application for the EE, I was working as a supervisor from February 2017 to July 2017. When I submitted my application I was still employed and my application for the EE was submitted on July 3, 2017.

I guess my application will get canceled to the express entry as I never updated my work history. My work history section still says Supervisor from February 2017-present...

I am currently working in a different place, still skilled...

What should I do? Please advice! I am still waiting for medicals and other processes as a provincial nominee (Alberta). I already sent my documents for permanent residency to Sydney office after receiving a nomination from the Alberta Government. Will this one effect on my PNP as well?

If I update my profile, my points will probably be going to be less as I said I quit my job in July 2017...

I have 90 days to apply or cancel my application....

Please help me with suggestions!!!!

Based on these information, you will need to decline this ITA as you don't meet the eligibility criteria for CEC (you don't have 1 year of Canadian work experience yet). Then, update your EE profile with the correct end date of your first employment and add your new job. Once you complete the 1 year, you can proceed with the PR application under CEC. Keep in mind that the 1 year work experience doesn't have to be continuous or in the same NOC, so you can add the two jobs as long as both are in NOC 0, A, or B. Good Luck!

Thank you for your reply. When I decline my ITA should I create a new EE profile or just need to update an old one? I added two jobs and it shows 9 months in total. I also had a break between the first and second job as after quitting from a first job I took a break, as well as spent some time searching for a new job. I hope this will not be a problem. Thanks so much for your answer!

That's not a problem and you can just update the EE profile. However, since you only have 9 months, just wait and create a new profile when you complete the 1 year. This is because with only 9 months, your profile will will be ineligible and you will have to create a new profile anyway. Good luck!

I just declined my ITA and they said that there is no guarantee in the future that I will be invited again and get selected.....:( I am upset. I updated my work history section too....
