Hi All,
Need help
Situation:-
I (Indian resident) got married in May 2017 and my Husband (Canadian PR holder) has applied for Spouse Sponsorship on September 2017 and got his eligibility to sponsor letter on November 1, 2017.
1st Attempt - I applied TRV on October 31, 2017 and got rejected on November 15, 2017 with just one reason " your sponsor's eligibility to sponsor you has not yet been determined"

2nd Attempt - I again applied on November 16, 2017 with the Sponsorship eligibility letter and the same application. Again got rejected saying they are not convinced that I will go back with three reasons
  • Travel History
  • Family Ties in India and Canada
  • Employment status
What I submitted for proof in my second application:-
  • Went on a International trip with my husband in August to Maldives (Stamp on passport for international travel), it is my first trip outside India (My husband suspected Travel history being a reason and that why we had this trip)
  • I wrote that I live with my parents and sister. My sister is in 12 grade and I teach her regularly, she have her exams in March 2018 and I have to come back to India to teach her.
  • I showed that I have to start a job in February, 2018 and for that I have to come back to India in January 2018
Can anyone please help me
Should I apply again after 2 refusals or I should just wait for PR?
If I should apply then how long after I apply again?
What explanations can I give to cover the above 3 reasons for refusal?

You should wait for PR. Refusal rates in situations like yours are quite common since CIC knows you have plans to remain in Canada long term and likely aren't a genuine visitor.

I thought so too, but when my friend got visa accepted for his wife (exactly similar case just he is a Canadian Citizen) I thought I should apply too.

Your friend's wife probably applied for a TRV after applying for her spousal PR + the file was transferred to her local visa office

Hi Bryanna,
I also applied for TRV after applying for Spousal PR but before my file was transferred to local visa office. My file for Spousal PR got transferred to local visa office on November 29, 2017 where as my second TRV application got rejected on December 19, 2017.

Do you think it would be any different if I apply for TRV now that my Spousal PR file has been transferred to local Visa Office?
