Am actually the sponsor... my husband is the applicant. The thing is I don't it to be confusing for them at the airport where they are filling the immigration form and they ask him where is going to stay and he tells them my new address and yet they have old one on file. Also his or card will be mailed there as well
Not to worry,
The immigration officer at airport will work calmly to process all the papers and he will not mess up. he/she will specifically ask "to what address your PR card to be shipped?"
even after that it will take around 2-3 months to actually get PR card during which you can call cic to confirm the mailing address of the PR card.
besides this, even when he says ur new address that is fine, infact that will be a good opportunity for you because the officer will change the address right away (over the counter) not to worry at all and nothing is going to be messed.
immigration officers in canada is pretty polite than others, and even the least shitty officer would not harass a new immigrant.
