When can we expect for the 20-30 october applicants couple of my friends are still waiting and have already booked a flight of next week

I myself applied on 20th, but trust me, i think they will delay it as we have missed the classes and so they will ask for deferral. Maybe we'll get an update around 15th-20th September.

So we cant deferral to may semester ? He got medical call around 10 november and its been 2 months. Abu dhabi embassy is really really sloe

If he is lucky he may get the permit this month but then again his classes will be missed. Otherwise the embassy will ask him to defer to either May or September which depends on the University whether they have a May intake or not. If they ask for a new LOA, it may take even more time as they don't want students to go to Canada early.

Yeah they did and are in Canada right now. They got their decision on 22nd of December.
I applied on 10th October and haven’t received medical call yet. Maybe it’s because I applied with family And the processing time for WP was 28 weeks then. Now it’s 20 weeks

CSE is supposed to be sent after lapse of normal processing time. So I will send one next week.
It seems almost impossible for me to join this intake as I need atleast 3 weeks for preparation as I will be moving with family
My sister had already applied for an admission extension and has sent it to cic via the webform, it seems like the document was reviewed and already uploaded to her file. She did and passed her medicals around Nov 25th, She applied on october 30th. Any idea when we should be expecting a passport request. I was hoping we should hear something today or this week?
is there any chance they cic kept all the Passports and applications of Pakistani students somewhere and forgot

Applied on 6 Nov and refused on 22 Nov.
After one day reapplied on 23 Nov and got approval mail on 8 jan.
