So, there is definite chance for all of us to get some updation/news in the upcoming days.

Any update from your side, as the medicals of all of you were done in December and it's been more than 1 year,so have you got any update from NDVO?

This is not expected. So if the Medicals get expired, what is the next step? Should we do it again?
Why is the NDVO is slow in processing the files? Is it because of higher volume from India??
I am concerned that my CSQ gets expire by November 2018. If the processing time is over 20-21 months, then the cSQ expire and don't know what will be the situation. Hopefully will get Visa atleast before that.

Probably Yes,they (NDVO/CIC) can ask you to provide the Re-Medical Reports

I don't think so, this (CSQ validity/expiry) will be a problem. from my point of view the CSQ should be under validity period once we apply for the federal Part of the application.
However I would request @APPNOV2014NY and @poisonapple to kindly guide in this.

If underlying CSQ is expired while federal PR is in process .... CIC will reach out to MIDI to issue new CSQ...

I am in the 15th month of processing.3 months after medicals.No updates so far.Nothing happened this week also.Already weekend and lets wait for the next Thursday..We are used to this wait game..Cheers

An Applicant has got Background Check Started Today (Visa Office NDVO).

Her Time line is as below:-

Application filed- August'2016
Application Number-Feb'2017
RPRF-March'2017
Medical Request- 15 Sept'2017
Medical Done- 29 Sept'2017
Background Check Started- 8 Jan'2018
DM- Waiting
