It is more than 4weeks we have submitted our passport at vfs office dhaka @23 november 2017. And embassy recieved it at 27 nov. but its 1jan2018 we didn't got any news. Tracking shows that its under prcoess. How much will need more? So worried about it .

Make and GC account, check your status there. In background checks they might take 3-6 months or may be more.

Hi @Nayeeb we applied on End of August 2017.. we still got no news. VFS tracking shows "in process"...!!

I applied paper based from vfs lhe, Pakistan and thrn linked my application to gc account.

Not really. Actually we are talking about Sleeping TRVs.
6 months, 4 months etc...

But what if my travelling days are in feb and my background check takes 3 to 4 months till june july so if it clears my background check, can they refuse my visa based on your travelling itineraries are expired.

No they will not refuse depending on ur travel plan. mostly i have seen Visa officers do what they want, so if they choose to ignore, ur good.

Well, if they wants to refuse you, they will reply you wihin a month.
If they considers you for further verification, 1st step is BG checks which most probably the longest part and no time limit.

You will still get the visa even time will be passed but be aware that this processing will take time.

So mean they will call to my university for confirmation and my bank for statement and everything ?
