Hello ,

I have applied for spousal sponsorship application on 8 September 2017 ( File received). Medical has been done in November.
Processing started on 12 December 2017. how long is the wait?
I am planning to visit my spouse back home in India for one month. Will it effect my processing ?

Is there any excel sheet for this group for applied, processing and decision made etc.

Hi ,

I would appreciate if someone can help me understand family sponsor for spouse and kids. My CRS score is below 400 when i include my spouse however it crosses once i exclude her score. So, If I opt not to take my family along , would it be possible to sponsor them afterwards. Looing forward for a reply.

Sorry this forum is not for Express Entry

Hi,

I am planning on sponsoring my wife. She is currently on a study permit from India here in Canada and I am a Canadian citizen. My question is, does my wife need to continue studying while our application is in progress?

No, You can apply for Open Work Permit and she can work in Canada

Hello,

In the generic application form, where it asks about current country of residence, I was wondering what I should enter.

I have been continuously resident in Canada from January 2014:
From Jan 2014 - Feb 2016 on a student permit
From Feb 2016 - present on a post graduate work permit

And I was also in Canada from June 2012 - August 2013 on a Working permit (with the final two months on a Visitor permit).

So, what should I answer for Current Country of Residence, Status, and Date?
Current Country of Residence is Canada, obviously. However, I am confused regarding what status and dates I should enter.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey guys,

I have a question. For the photocopies of the supporting documents, do we have to name and sign each of them ? Or only name and sign if you writing something with a pen on it ?
Alnd, would it(signing) make any difference for the application ?

Please let me know ASAP as i will be applying tomorrow.

Thanks

It does not state anywhere that the evidence documents have to be signed.

If i included an extra sheet (word doc) because i didnt have enough space on a form i put the following at the top of the extra sheet;

Continuation of form xxxxx question xxxxx. PA name. Sponsor name. Application Class.

Both myself and my sponsor initialled these additional pages. It doesnt state anywhere you have to initial these pages, we just did.

Hi I have a question. i have a wife in canada and she's sponsoring me for spousal visa. i'm having trouble about the translation of our text messages, social media messages and emails. Because it says in cic.gc website that translation is needed. our messages is in Cebuano so i need to translate it in English. Does anyone ever done that?

Thanks for the reply.

So, would I be right in saying that would be:
Country: Canada
Status: Worker
Start date: February 2016 (that was the date the Post-Graduate Work Permit began; I had been in Canada continuously since January 2014, firstly as a student)
