Hi All,

I am creating my WES application profile and have come across Required Documents. This is for Indian candidates specifically who did their schooling in ICSE board. Do we have to write to ICSE council for the transcripts for 10th and 12th or we can provide copy of my 10th and 12th certificate/marksheet what we received from our school after passing?

On the graduation front, I am planning to collect the transcripts from my college and send to WES myself. What specifically I need to write to my college in order to get the transcripts in the envelope. Please explain in detail.

Do I need to complete my WES profile after making the payment for Educational Credential Assessment Package to get the WES Reference Number which would be there in the transcript request to the college?

Regards,
Saurabh

Dear Saurabh,

can you share the link which says that for candidates who did they education from ICSE should submit their 10th and 12th marks sheets? As far as i know, WES will evaluate your degree (bachelors / masters).

You will need to create a wes profile and pay the fee upfront. once the fee is paid, the reference number will be auto generated.

on the collection front, i suggest you go to your university and check the requirement to get your transcripts. some universities would require you to get a letter of authorization from your collage you studied.

the envelope you create must contain a copy of all your marksheets + convocation certificate. all of these need to be attested by the university. then you will need to seal the envelope and also get a seal in the middle of the flap (which you will close and seal).

all detialed instructions are available on the wes website.

Nishant.

Thanks Nishant,

So in the wes profile in my IRCC application, under "Your Education" the below is mentioned

What credentials have you earned?
Please include your secondary education and higher education study for analysis.

Note: Only completed degrees or diplomas can be evaluated for the IRCC application. WES does not evaluate occupational study, trade qualifications, short-term professional development programs, or work experience.

Secondary education
Also called high school education. Usually includes grades or academic years 9 or 10 through 12.

Higher education
Academic study beyond the high school or secondary school level.

So i feel they need this information for analysis. Not sure what this analysis is and does it have any impact on express entry candidature?

I believe the envelope needs to be sealed by the college itself, isn't it?

the secondary education they are asking is mostly for diploma holders. check the below link.

https://www.wes.org/required-documents/

the envelope will need to be sealed by the university / college which has awarded you the degree.
