Re-enter Canada 1month before Expiry

Hi Guyz,

I have 1yr multiple entry visa to Canada which will expire on Nov2018. I am planning to visit this coming July 2017.

I am planning again to visit by Oct2018 for 10days. Will there be a problem since my visa will expire on Nov7,2018? I am afraid if boarder will not allow me to entry since visa is about to expire.. I don't have plan also to extend my visa because I need to comeback in Saudi for my work.

There will be no issues. You can easily travel but make sure you will have return ticket with you so you can answer border control officer in case.

Thank you.. Yes, i have confirmed ticket by that time. It so happen that I need to come back by oct2018 because of some important occasion.

Hi Byranna, my passport will expire jul 2020. I just make sure i will not face problem in border since my TRV will expire a month before.

You'll be fine. Do ensure you have confirmed return plane tickets for each entry + funds for your visit

Thanks a lot Bryanna.. Is it okay to re-apply immediately after visa expires? Let's say visa will expire in Nov2018 and i will apply by dec2018.

You can but it would only be issued through a period to the expiry of your passport in 7/2020 maximum

Thank you.. Yes it is okay too because my passport will expire by jul 2020. I just want to re-apply so that I can visit anytime by 2019..
