Hello again everyone!!

I had to include the statements for the last 6 months because my bank didn't gave any information on the average balance on its account verification letter. But as I am uploading now its saying that the file size is too big. I tried compressing the file but still I cant get it uploaded.

So, I tried to put 3 months statements on POF sections and the next three months under the LOE section and it worked. So I can do ahead and submit I application and describe the situation in the letter.

Please help!! Thank you

It’s possible to shrink the file further. Try 150 dpi. Even 20 MB files can be shrunk to less than 4 MB. You just haven’t tried all the settings in acrobat.

What I did was put everything (scans) in a Word document and then there is an option in the Files menu I believe to reduce file size, under that select the lowest possible DPI and save the document as a PDF.

I had six months of account statements for two of my accounts, six months of Credit card statement and few letters from bank and i could fit all under 4 MB.

Just a personal preference, but I am not too comfortable sharing personal information (Account Info/Account numbers etc) with these online compression tools/portals, you never know how your data is treated.. that is why I stick to Word.. again just a personal pref..

Thank you again for your response....Hey Spso just wondering if you had all those pages stamped by your bank official before you submitted it to CIC?

For one of my accounts, I got the letter from bank on their letterhead in the exact format that is requested by CIC. For my other accounts I got the statements from bank itself and made them stamp just to be on the safer side. For my credit cards, I just pulled the statements online.

I only use one account. I have also got a letter from the bank but they refused to put the average of last six months hence, I had them print out the statements and stamped the front page of every month, not every page. I am planning to explain the situation in the LOE. Hopes that works.

Anyways, Thank you again for the response. Means a lot.

Thanks should be fine, as long as CIC can verify the average amount from the account statements, you should be good. And also, there should not be a sudden influx of the money in your account in last 6 months, or if there is one, there should be a valid explanation for the same. All the best.

Right.. I have that influx covered. My brothers are helping me out with the funds. I will enclosed gifts deeds from them in the LOE.

Thank you and all the best to you too.
