Hello everyone, I am almost about to apply for my PR under FSW. Just stuck in the mailing address. Should I just provide them the home address or rent a P.O.Box from local post office for the next 6 months.

Please advice!!

P.S I am applying from US.

Home address.
The mailing service in my country is terrible and I'm afraid some of the mails I'm supposed to receive get lost, as it has happened already (I never got my FBI PCC for instance).

Isn't it safer to rent a P.O. Box in the US?

Thats a good point Arod.

Just wondering if we can pay the cost of Fedex or Dhl first hand to CIC, if they are about to send us the documents?

Hi Rk Gunner,

I'm no expert whatsoever, but unfortunately I think that is not possible. At least not yet.

Hello Arod,

I think I saw someone saying in the forum that there will be an option to use either courier or postal service. Anyways, I will keep looking around. One more thing, I have decided to provide one of the friend's home address as mailing address who has a family here and will stay here for next few years. Whereas, I am not sure how long will I stay at my current address.

I hope that wont be problematic. I have read some comments regarding this similar issue and found out some of their application were returned because of discrepancy between home address and mailing address.

Any suggestion on the matter Arod?

If you are applying in Express Entry then every correspondence for you will be through email.

Yes I am under the Federal Skilled Worker(Express Entry). And thank you for the insights. I am glad to know that everything goes through email. Either way, I will keep my friend's address for my mailing address just in case they need to mail me some documents.

Anyways, Thank you again for the response.
