TRV November Applicants (Visa Office Chandigarh / New Delhi)

I have applied online on 25th november with my husband, but i haven't get any update. Can anyone tell me where my file would be processed? I am from SAS nagar, is it go to chandigarh consulate? And when i can email them to get an update?

You have to wait they are busy much on this time cause Christmas holidays or you can check online in your account for update they will send you email .your file will be
Process in Chandigarh consulate and you cant go there in person they dont meet anyone without appointments for interview or you can send email as CASE SPECIFIC ENQUIRY .

how much time they take to reply on case specific inquiry ?

Both myself and my lawyer contacted them but no response or updates on the application. I am starting to give up now. I was so excited to travel to Canada to see Christmas and New Years now it's all a nightmare.

All other countries have a way to contact the officer handling the case. All other countries also take into consideration travel dates. Everyone around me is getting a visa for Canada so fast to visit or as students and I'm just sitting here Depressed. Already was refused before... worked so hard to gather documents to prove them wrong but it's not worth it.

I applied online November 15. You can call the IRCC call center( someone you know in Canada can call) to find out the status. Maybe your application is in background check.
