IELTS exam for express entry sn

Hi,

Please I need help. I was filling in my brother’s information and notice his IELTS exam report shows academic and not general. Here are the scores Speaking 7, Writing 6.0 Listening 7, Reading 7. Can he go ahead to use this results or he has to rewrite the exam for general?
