Leave approval inquiry

Hey guys,

I am applying for a Canadian visitor visa and I have received leave approved letter from manager. But my manager will be away for 3 - 4 weeks for his annual leave. So I am worried if visa officer will inquire about my leave while my manager will be away from work.

Does it normally happen to get inquiry about leave approval in visitor visa applications??

Others can comment but would think very unlikely immigration would be contacting anyone about a visitor visa application.

Thank you so much for your reply. Also I am not sure if you know this but I am permanent resident of New Zealand. Therefore I have scanned a page of my passport where my Residence Visa is stamped. I have few other old NZ work visas stamped on my old passport. But do you think my current valid passport should be sufficient to submit along with Resident Visa page since it’s my current status in this country?
