No Arrival Stamp Upon Entry?

Our family just arrived on multi entry visa. We checked their passports and they have no arrival stamp only departure from India.

Does this mean they can up to stay 6 month?

No stamp usually means by default upto 6 months as a visitor assuming of course you can fund/insure yourself for 6 months as a visitor without working

Once you are at airport and got the boarding pass for Canadian City or any city in the world, your data already shared with the relevant departments. They already know about your arrival so this is not a big deal if they didnt stamp your family passports.

This may well be true but ultimately CBSA at the border still have the final decision on whether anyone is allowed into the country and for how long. People do land and are refused entry even having successfully boarded a plane from their home country.

which airport you reletives entered in canada. did they use self service machine at the airport?

Vancover, BC. Pretty sure they didn’t do self serve. They are on not technology friendly.
