For the first: lady said they were planning for August but it seems too early. Then she talked about 15 September and oct.
@mhentry and @Jakev ??

for the 10: I opted for taxi as the lady said it will be more comfortable with flight timings.
Hi, not disagreeing but understand one thing, in the US the schools open around Labor Day which is after first Monday of September so generally the dates are around 6,7,8 September. So how can it be 15th September? Since it will be when th schools start?

Also, most people opt for a vacation in July, August, so just going by that analysi I felt 15th August maybe the correct answer! Will have to wait and see.

And yes, taxi would've been ideal but the person booking "suggested" 'Coach' since it's the most economical and will help reach hotel directly from the airport.

Anyways, what's done is done! :)

I am not disagreeing with your analysi! I am saying that when you use the context for Phone you would say something like 'Over the Phone' as compared to 'By phone'.

I maybe wrong but I felt Authority was more apt.

Let's pray! I am anyways targeting band 8 which allows me 5 incorrect answers! :)
I agree that by authority makes more sense than by phone.

Lets hope for the best.

Yup, what's done is done.

Do you remember any answers to the section where multiple options were given and we were asked to write the answer from them (A to F or G)? questions were environment related, I think.

That's really hard to recollect now! But I felt that this Listening test in particular was a bit tricky! When I say tricky, I mean, the speaker had multiple answers to a question and made it really difficult to associate the right answer.

The other issue which I faced in the Pittsburgh center was they had a CD player and it echoed a lot. I raised the concern with the invigilator but she said that the people at the back won't be able to hear if she kept the volume low.

Anyways, I have booked another date for the IELTS in Newark, NJ on the 6th of Jan.
