July Applicant got PPR today,
but Nairobi Visa Office. not London

London Visa Office is been assigned to make ketchup out of applicants mind before giving them PR

oh mere Allah, i m July 18th, 2017 Applicant... but Visa office is London. Why other VO are faster than LVO.. New Delhi now Nairubi..

Once u get the passport back they send u landing papers also.. That's what you show at Pearson

COPR is the Landing paper i believe so he got both his Passport and COPR/Landing Paper

So as per your advice, I called again and this time I kept my question very clear.' I think it's important we ask them the right question.

What they said: (She was in a good mood and was telling me how she is excited about holidays)
1. CPC-M has my file and it's not with LVO, they didn't transfer.
2. Background checks indeed started and she said, its a very happy news for you as we usually don't do it unless we think the file has everything we need and everything is in order of what we require, so we moved your file to BGC in Mississauga. She said your file is under verification by OUR agencies.
3. Files are quickly transferred to VO's if our staff think that they can't do much about it and country related VO will be the best path, specially if there is a confusion.
4. The background check has no timelines, it can be done in a week or in months. That depends on different factors.
5. Once BGC gets completed, my file will be transferred to London from where the passoport request will be initiated. CPC-M won't be able to do it as its country-specific Visa office which stamps visa.
6. Christmas holidays are from 23rd Dec to 27th Dec. 2017.

When she referred BGC, it was for you as a Sponsor? as CPC-M should approve sponsor to meet the eligibility to sponsor the PA. Once they approve the Sponsor to sponsor the PA, they inform Sponsor about their Decision as "Decision Made" and send a letter confirming the same. Then the file transferred to LVO for 2nd part of the Sponsorship application. I am not sure when she said CPC-M doing BGC, it must be yours as Sponsor not for Principal Applicant? What you think?
Glad to hear that Christmas holidays are from 23rd Dec to 27th Dec. 2017 then most of the people here in Canada never get back to work and take off rest of the days as vacations / call in sick so Thurs Dec 28th/Fri Dec 29, 99% of the staff will stay home then Sat and Sun Off anyways.
Mon Jan 1st, New Year STAT Holiday so I am Glad to tell you people will start coming back to work on Tues Jan 2nd, 2018, if they don't have any further plan to stay home. I am seeing this trend since last 19 years of my life in Canada.

I have got the PR Visa stamped on my passport and now I am planning to land in Feb 2018.

Who else is planning to land around the same time. I would need some advise from the people who have already landed in the past regarding housing and employment mainly.

I realize all of that khancanada and then some. I’ve even talked to immigration minister who said that at this point they can’t do anything since security is being checked. Until that is complete, nothing can be done

I want to know if this thing happend to anyone that ecas showing decision made but mycic account still show same old messages background check in process and reviewing your eligibility.

And i didn't receive anything from cic no letter or email is it normal.
