As the visa office has returned your passport without correcting the visa, there's nothing else you can do

means i can travel , there is no problem at immigration
It's a genuine visa + a genuine passport. You can travel.

You could also carry copies of your communication with the visa office (any passport request letter + your request to the visa office to re-stamp your passport with a new visa for the correct name)

Don't panic. Relax. There are always alternative solutions to the same issue :)

1. How did you apply for a WP? I guess you applied through a representative/immigration consultant.

2. Did you sign a 'Use of Representative' form that authorized your representative to apply on your behalf?

2. How long did it take for the entire process? Did you do your medicals?

3. Did your rep give you an Application Number?

4. Is the visa stamped in your passport?

Quite honestly, it seems like a scam to get your money. You will need to tell us a bit more.

1.) I applied through an agent who has some contact in business in canada.i have to pay him money but after arival in canada and they agent will come with me and drop me all the way to canada.
This is very unusual and not necessary. Why would the agent need to accompany you? It does not make any sense.

2.) No i did not sign anything except my job contact in New delhi.
As you did not sign the 'Use of Representative' form, your agent cannot/could not have represented you for your application.

Also, to get a Work Permit, you would need to first find a Canadian employer who would be willing to go through the LMIA process, which includes advertising to prove that no Canadian citizen/PR is available for the job. This could take several months and most employers won't go through this process. Was this done in your case?

After getting a positive LMIA, only then you can apply for a work permit. Did you get a positive LMIA?

3.) It took about 3 months. i did medicals also.
Did you do your medicals at one of the panel physicians which is recognized by IRCC/Canadian immigration authorities.

You can check for the approved clinic here:

4) ways not given any number. according to agent he has some setting in visa office
This is fishy and makes it look like a scam. It is not possible to have a *setting* in the visa office to be issued visas
