Hello Everyone,

I received PPR request last week 11th December. I sent my passport on 12th December night.
When I checked my Canada post tracker it said it was delivered to CIC Ottawa on 14th December.

Today 19th December again I received PPR with same details.

Can someone please tell me why I received PPR twice ?

I received passport request today, 19th december. That means ideally my passport should submit to CIC ottawa by 19th of Jan. But i will be in india(backhome) from 23rd Dec to 16th Jan. Will come back to Canada on 17th Jan. How should i proceed. Anyhow I have to go to india and my tickets are also booked already. Kindly revert experts

You can email them, letting them know you’re traveling and when you will be back; and seek for an extension. My friend did the same thing & it all worked out for him. All the best.

One step closer guys.

Woke up this morning with my tracker activated but shows it's in Toronto. I guess they forgot to scan it in Ottawa. Hopefully I'll have it back today.

Thanks, I'm in Toronto. I know Canada Post is super busy though so anything is possible with actual delivery. Hoping that yours gets to you soon!

I'm from Toronto as well! 13th approval and still no activation. Seems they are sending out pp according to the date they received it.

My tracker still says Ottawa 18:17’ And In Transit since dec 18th. I hope it’s really on the way though and I hope i receive it today as I paid for 1-2 days delivery and today is 20th!
