An engineer works as a teacher. is that ok?

i have a master degree in engineering, however, due to some circumstances i worked as a secondary school teacher teaching mathematics. can i use this work experience when applying for express entry? or it won't be accepted since my degree is in engineering and not in education? because i found in the website below that the requirement to teach at school is that you need a degree in education. so i am confused. anyone can help and advise me?

please make sure that your NOC code falls under the points category. only 00, 0 and 1 NOC codes accrue points.
