I am the applicant for the Canadian citizen based on the old act C-24 in the May. I knew there is explanation about the intention in the CIC website indicated intention ends the day of ceremony. Right now I want to save this information or broswer page in my local computer. However, I can't get this information in the CIC website right now due to the C-24 is repealed.

Can I ask you to send me the browser page regarding the explanation of intent until the day of ceremony if you have saved in your computer? I do appreciate your kind help!

My email box: jc.smawoo@gmail.com or jac

Thank you very much in advance,
This is excerpt from speech of Sen. Nicole Eaton (Conservative), who sponsored bill C-24 in the senate.

"This notion of intention to reside is one that I wish to be very clear about. It relates only to the requirement to be resident in Canada for four out of six years to fully meet the prescribed requirements for citizenship. It does not create a new second class of Canadian. It does not inhibit mobility once citizenship has been granted.

Canadian citizenship entitles one to such freedom of movement, and we are asking applicants to demonstrate their sincere intention to reside in this country during the prescribed four- out-of-six-year period and to make this declaration at the front end of the process."

There are many other occasions on which same was cleared by Chris Alexander and others.
