Is the interest credited to their savings accounts regularly or is cumulative interest payable upon maturity?

This amount would be insufficient to pay for their airfare (not to forget their itinerary). It would be best if they save up a lot more before applying

They are having 40000 cad in the form of Bank FD's. In the saving account they are having 4000 cad , do we need to add more in the saving account or is it sufficient.
Interest on FD will be made at the time we withdraw it.we can withdraw it any time when we need.

They need more money in their savings account = Liquid finances (not borrowed, of course)

Sounds like cumulative interest will be paid on the FDs. It doesn't help because realistically speaking, no one will liquidate their FDs to pay for a visit to see their friends

Funds in the current bank account (business account) cannot be shown as 'Available funds for their visit' because it would include business expenses, salaries, etc.

Again, their available liquid funds are too little. I would wait until they have saved up a good deal more (without borrowing) and/or can account for the funds in their savings account(s)

Do my parents need to mention their children TRV in the explanation letter ??? Or it's their choice.
Is there any harm if they did not mention it.

There's no need to mention your TRVs unless all of you would be traveling together. In which case, your parents must demonstrate really solid ties to their home country to offset the 'Family ties are stronger to Canada' reasoning
