Just a wild assumption... There will be no ielts results I assume till 20th January, and even with 2 weeks intervals we should probably have 3 draws before then... I think CRS cutoff might either get to 430 or below by the 2nd draw in January... Just an assumption tho.

there are 2 IELTS exams & results before 20th Jan...One which happened on 16th Dec & one which will happen on 6th January

Another variable to consider is 3 Wednesdays in January. God only knows what CIC has planned for us.Let's hope for the best.

Hi guys,
Happy to share that finally we received the golden mail of PPR.
Jumped in the pool in may2017, with 380 CRS.
Missed the may 31st draw with 3 days as the revaluation score of IELTS of my husband (the primary applicant) reached us on 3rd June, then the score we counted was 418, still a long way to go.
After that I plan to sit for IELTS again in July we reached to 430, hoped that this is sufficient to get us ITA .But so wrong .
Then send my docs for ECA to IQAS, which took good 2.5months.
After long wait and we could reach the CRS of 439 in October
And then CIC started dodging us with unpredictable CRS.
Finally on 15 Nov, we received our precious ITA (which was the exact cutoff and rank tied too).
AOR - 30 November
Med passed- 12 December
PPR-16 December.
This is like a gamble, the more you put at stake, the more you get closer to your dreams.
And don't stop dreaming and believing .

For those preparing for IELTS. Please check the following websites. Ieltsliz.com, IELTS buddy.com, ielts-up.com. The above websites are helpful for Reading, writing and speaking.

For listening, go to YouTube and type IELTS listening. Loads of practice tests are available there. Knock yourself out.

I used the above mentioned, and scored L-8.5, R-7.5, W-7.5, S-8.0. My was my first attempt. Lol.

Also, for reading, I always advise to look out synonyms. Don't jump at the first answer you see. Double check the word in the question and look out for the synomyn in the passage. leltsliz.com should explain more.

I expected higher score in my reading (because it was really simple for me) but because of too much anxiety and rush, I landed at 7.5.

Current CRS- 453. Fingers crossed for ITA

I have just created my ee profile. My crs score is supposed to be 430. But when I created the file, I didn’t get any points for my one year study in Canada which provides me with 15 points. So now my file is in the pool with 415 points.Is this a technical glitch ?

A new draw tomorrow a new hope...may the wait for ITA vanish for few and become shorter for few.
I wish cic start issuing 3000+ now. we can welcome new year peacefully with new hope if this happens. Last few draws have been really disappointing. Hope they give a big surprise before the Christmas vacation.
All the best guys...catch up with your hope and lets make each other stronger in this race.

If the second draw of Jan is back to back then BINGO...the crs will drop drastically.

Even though ircc has been a little predictable for the last few draws carrying out one draw every 2 weeks I hope they break this pattern and we have 2 back to back draws end of the year.

And instead of 80th draw being the last we have an 81st draw too this year. Maybe I am being too optimistic but meh this is Ray of hope thread and a grrl can hope.

I pray it should be less than 440. From CRS of 378 to 435, now waiting at 442. Hopefully this Wednesday should be my day. Looks like I now live the Wednesday to Wednesday cycle. Lol

First ielts L7.5, R9, W8, S,8 with crs 378. 2nd ielts L 8.5, R8, W7, S7.5 with crs 435. Last ielts L9, R9, W7.5, S7.5 which increased CRS to 442. I have a master's but lost marks on age which was made up for by my spouse ielts, 8, 8.5, 7,7 for LRWS.
