Unless he is a PR or Canadian citizen he wouldn't qualify.

Planning to sponsor my wife in Jan 2018. I am PR in Quebec and she will be coming in from Dubai with my kid. Hope we gonna share some ideas here. Can we electronically sign the forms or we need to print and courier

Oops thought we were talking parental sponsorship. Sorry this is incorrect.

One of my friend's application was returned back and the reason was that in generic application form for applicant; the mailing and residential address was different as mailing address was the spouse address living in Canada while residential address was the applicant address living in Pakistan; According to IRCC/CIC they are saying if the address are different then fill up the "use a representative form". In this case can anyone help me?

You cannot electronically sign the forms. Both the sponsor and the applicant send to sign the application forms by hand.

Ok sounds good. Meaning i have to spend more for the courier services. Thanks for the reply.
