This group has gone silent as well.. Anybody still around from April or May AOR ..Please advise with category ;-)

We are FSW, AOR May 12th. Last update BGC IP2 since August end and now ADR is fluctuating between Not needed and being reviewed
I'm still around.. April AOR..

I read on one of the other forums that the 6 months processing time only starts when the R10 completeness check is done. Is that right? How will I know when it was completed?

As per my opinion, 6 months time is from AOR date. I guess that forum/persons are mentioning 6 month time from R-10 date as they had received standard reply from visa office "your application is still within regulatory timeline......" even beyond 6 months

Usually email reply are not true depiction of your application.

Anyone who has ordered GCMS notes.. does it help in any way or does it just fuel ones curiosity
Seems like sometimes it helps dig up your file, it has been the case for me, i have received my Ready for Visa mail just 3 weeks after GCMS

i hope so! I haven't heard a single word from cic for the past 3 months. they need to improve their update system. it would actually benefit them as less people would be inclined to contact them

from what I know it alerts you of any missing docs/factors in your file. If the officer wants additonal docs you can see it there even before they contact you asking for it. It also tells you about your security check, medicals, etc etc. It only cost $5 if you have a frnd/relative in Canada. If not, then there are third party companies who can order it for you. make sure you dont overspend as the rates are different for all the companies. caipsgcms.com charges $10 whereas caips.ca charges $40 so you know the difference now.

Good morning everybody. I finally passed medicals.
CPC-Ottawa. AOR May 29.
Had adr regarding medicals twice; July 24 and November 22. If you have to name bg status, it is IP3 now. Must be an exception.
Anyway, hope everyone has a great day with lots of PPR emails today.

Hi Hiyer, my timeline is very similar to yours. Aor is 17 may. And by the end of july, my doc status changed to we do not need additional doc and it stayed like that till November.

My doc status once again changed to we are reviewing the additional docs and it just went back to we do not need additional docs all the while my status being at NA2. :(

Just keep the forum posted if you see a change in your status.

Thanks
