Hi there,
I have been struggling to get my Proof of Funds letter from Barclays (United Kingdom), that would follow exactly the requirements from CIC. At the end of the day, after trying in a number of branches, I got one that specifies everything as requested. The only problem I have is that they couldn't put it in their official letterhead format, but instead used the one that their system uses, when the client requests a very specific written content, such as this one.
So, I was wondering if by your experience, will this format be accepted? Please see image in attach.
How is CIC's process of verifying these letters from the Bank in the first place? I suppose if the process is to fax it over and send it to the bank, they can confirm the veracity of this. But if it is just a phone call, this might look not official enough? Do you know if they fax it?
Thanks again for your time,
-Matheus
