As per CIC should be 15 working days.. Did you apply on paper or online? Paper is application is faster but I prefer online since you will know upon checking in account if approved or not. I got mine for 1yr multiple entry here in Jeddah KSA.. I applied online. It took 29days before i received request for passport..

You are right, and in paper based applications you can link your visa request to GC key system after that you can also access your status just like online trv.

Since when you applied? In my first application it was denied way back in 2015..I submitted all docs in VAC Jeddah and within 5 working days my passport was returned with refusal letter. So I decided to apply online in my next application.. for me it is more convenient though I never expect it will take that long.

Since when you applied? In my first application it was denied way back in 2015..I submitted all docs in VAC Jeddah and within 5 working days my passport was returned with refusal letter. what are the documents you have uploaded? how much was your bank balance? have you traveled to other countries before? in my case, I traveled to France, Belgium&Netherlands before I re-apply. I think if you have visited UK,US&EU have greater chances of approval..

I have travelled to more than 30 countries as of now, i have a business trip planned to US, from there i want to spend 5 days in Canada and come back to US. Bank balance is good enough to cater 5 days expenses.

I Dont think so they should have any issues with the travel history or bank balance, its just a time game.
