Express Landing Email?

Has anyone recieved an email from MTL Express IRCC? I just got a random email from them with a word document attchment asking if I want to complete my Landing through a Phone conversation...
I wasn't even aware my file was approved?
I applied inland PNP Feb 2016 and I just got an email in November 15th to renew my medical.
Any idea what might be going on? It sounds fishy..

i just spoke to CIC and they confirmed my Express Entry is approved. I applied Sept 22 so yes, its a very fast approach.
Is your status on mycic changed to DM? did you get COPR yet?

i did not get COPR yet i have applied in sept 30 under express entry.

Hi guys,

I applied for my PR as an inland applicant under family sponsorship. I got an email today for express landing too! Did you guys get your CoPR mailed to you yet? That's what the email says the IRCC will do after my confirmation of availability for the call.

This is all so new!

As for legitimacy I am now waiting to speak to a CIC agent on the phone. It seems pretty legit tho imo and the timing is right as I got my DM a week ago so landing should follow fairly quickly.

It was short just asked few details about my passport place of birht and date of entry to canada, my COPR is dispatched it seems and i would receive two copies of them i will have to sing and fill few details and send along with my photographs, CIC would sign and send me back one copy from where my pr card process starts,

the pr card process will take 60 days it seems.

congratulations. So there is no need to go to the border?

It seems that there is no need to have the CoPR at hand now when you are doing the telephone interview (I have received an email confirmation from the MTL email from IRCC to this effect and have finished my telephone landing just two days ago without a CoPR).

The only frustration that remains is that I have yet to receive my CoPR - god knows how long that will take.

The officer called me and asked me if I have the letter and I said no. she said she can not do the interview!! It's so ridiculous
