Can Application forms be signed Digitally (Through Preview)?

Hey Fellas,

Can all the spousal sponsorship forms be signed through "Preview (Mac)" with electronic signature? I know the validated ones can not be signed electronically with ADOBE ACROBAT, but can you digitally place a handwritten signature on the form (with photoshop or preview) or does it have to be actual ink signature?

On a similar note, can forms be signed and then scanned and printed off? OR does CIC require actual original copy with ink signature?

Yup, ink signatures are required, which is why when the couple are living in different countries they have to actually ship the forms back and forth to each other to get them signed properly.
