Should read your post earlier! We did the medical exam on Sunday, and still no update on MyCIC account, we didn't ask when the panel physician would submit the result to CIC

My husband’s physician told him they are obligated it submit it within 7 or 10 days. So don’t worry! For us it took 7 days after the exam to show medical is passed, while others had it in a day or two.

so after you go for the medical, do you find out same day if CIC got it and if you passed it? on average how long do they take to tell you that?

In my case, i did the medical yesterday Tuesday 12/12 by 11AM time of Tunis Tunisia (GMT+1) and the panel physicien submitted it by 2PM,so today 13/12morning they updated "you passed the medical exam" also status changed on ECAS " your application in Process !! thats super quick !

I think it depends on the panel physicien and how quick on submiting your medical exam,but you'll get it soon ! best of luck!! whats your VO?

X ray bloodwork, urine, they check out your vision, general physical

Ok, thanks for the comfort! I just Check MyCIC , under the Application Status section, the " Review of Medical Result" shows " we are reviewing the result of your medical exam" , does that mean CIC got the medical result already?

it said that for me even before the applicant had done the medical exam so its just a default message.

Hi Friends,

I have got AOR1 on Nov 20. I received an email from CIC stating that "I have met the eligibility criteria for sponsor" a week ago. however, ecas status remains same and still showing "we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements".... My spouse medical is passed now. Out of curiousity, i called CIC and enquired about my spose application, they said "it's in progress".

Do we get any status for sponsor approval in ecas? if so, howlong will it take to reflect this in ecas status and the time taken to send the application to next VO for aor2 from the email that i mentioned above.

I am not sure. whether the email can be treated as sponsor approval or will we get any explicit status (something like decision made for sponsor, sponsor met the criteria,etc)...my application is still at Missasauga.... they havent changed my spouse application to next VO office....

Yes that email is SA.

the mycic is concerning the Applicant application so i believe that is for eligibility of applicant

Does it mean they will take time to update in mycic? whats the next process?

the applicant gets request for Sched A, PCC, and medical request. once that is done then they transfer the file to the applicants local visa office for further processing. this can takes weeks before they transfer the file to local VO.

Thanks again Posse. I have already submitted PCC and my spouse medical is passed last week itself. I understand this will take some time. just curious to know, do we get the status change for SA (after that email) in ecas?
