Hello Guys, I am a permanent resident of Canada (through Canadian work experience programme). I obtained the status 4 months ago while I was working in Ontario. Recently, I got a job offer in Montreal. I am just confused if I am eligible to move and work or will I have to get some more paperwork done. Could someone help me with this please?

I have to disagree with the answer above! Once you apply through CEC you are promising to plan to live outside of Quebec. It is outlined perfectly twice on the requirements page:
  • You must plan to live outside the province of Quebec
This being said, plans change and nobody is there to prevent you to move to Montreal. The red flags will wave around in your history when you apply for your citizenship. There has been cases that they were called in for interviews. Just make sure you have enough documentation to convince the officer and outline the reasons why you moved to Montreal. Some people prove they couldn't find the job they were looking for in their province and they back it up with the amount of applications they sent during their job hunting.

I'm not trying to freak you out or anything, just bare in mind that there would be a slight of a chance for some questions to be asked, since you initially signed your papers not to move to Quebec.

Best of luck,

I certainly did not have plans to move there when I applied for the PR. But now I have lost my first job in Ontario and got only offer left with me from Montreal.

Move to Montreal and ignore the post above, it is not about "promising" anything nor is it about "planning" to live outside the province of Quebec (like the other poster suggests), it is about the intention of doing so.

The mobility rights and the charter of rights freedoms gives you the right to move to any province and pursue livelihood in any province.
