Hello,
I have received the Confirmation of PR (COPR) for the whole family. I am the primary applicant and in my COPR form, all the dependents (family members) are tagged as "Accompanying".
Does that mean that my dependent family members has to travel with me while entering Canada for the first time? Can I, the primary applicant, enter in Canada first and rest of the dependent members follow after sometime, say a month or two, but definitely before expiry date?

Hi,
the primary applicant has to land first. Your family can land either with you or later (they don't need to travel with you) but of course as you mentioned before expiry date of their COPR.

Hi nov1061,
Thanks for your quick response. Just wondering why the "Accompanying" tag is added if the dependents can travel later also. Based on your response, now I can fairly infer that "Accompanying" tag is used here to signify the eligibility of a dependent for PR and has nothing to do with travelling. Right?
