Good Morning Everyone,

Need some help please with below questions
Question 1 :
If the jurisdiction or country of your initial nursing program does not issue a license, does your diploma give you the right to practice?
I am from Punjab(India) , I am not sure if the BSC nursing degree would allow to practice, however we do get a license from PNRC

So should I answer Yes or NO ?

Question 2
Did you obtain registration in the jurisdiction where you completed your initial nursing program?
Yes or no ..not sure ?

Question 3
Enter the complete and formal name of the nursing registration/licensing examination you have completed
Would it be BSC nursing or PNRC

Anyone from Punjab who's application is under process or has completed the NNAS assessment ,please help me to answer these questions.

2. I have Hepatitis B carrier. does this situation affect the application?

GPA does not matter as far as you have license.

Dont know about hepatitis

Hepatitis doesn't matter. Half of the people who immigrate to Canada from India and Asia carry Hepatitis B. The only thing that the license would require in this regard is that you not have an illness that affects your ability to function as a nurse. Beyond that, you're good to go for nursing.

I'm not sure about immigration though. Sometimes people who would be a burden on the health care system are not seen as desirable immigration applicants. Not sure where Hep B would fit there though. I imagine it's fine for immigration purposes as well.

no. if your nursing education was conducted in English then you dont need an english test.

All provinces. You will have to show that it was in English, but beyond that, it's ridiculous to have to take an exam. Many people have got exemptions, myself included, having been educate in the USA.

In US & Canada, & may in some other countries as well, after completing 3/4 years nursing education you are bound to give RN-NCLEX against which you are granted license. Although there are countries, where after completing your education from the recognized college/university, you are automatically granted license by Reg body. I hope it clarifies you
