Travel to the USA on Implied Status?

Hi,
I am on a PGWP right now, and i will be eligible to apply for Express Entry in January 2018; I am wondering if i can travel to the USA for a week or so and then come back to Canada as a worker and resume working.
So will i have any problems in doing that or no??
Can you please tell me what to do in this situation ?

Hi

If you have a PGWP, you are not on Implied Status. You can leave and return and continue working as long as your work permit is valid.

Actually my question is: My work permit is valid until June 2018 and i will apply Express Entry in Jan 2018, so after applying for Express Entry can i still go and come back from the USA in Feb 2018 in IMPLIED STATUS??
And also can you please give me the reference for CIC link to go through?

Again, you will not have Implied Status, as you are on a PGWP. Applying for PR does not grant status in any way. You should have no issues going to the US and returning.
