AOR in 25 August. I went into SS on Sep 22nd (BG check changed to IP2 at this date). I ordered my GCMS notes and confirmed SS started on Sep 22nd.
On December 1st my BG status changed to "Not Applicable" signifying end of IP2 and start of NA3 (I guess). But still no PPR.

Any thoughts guys ?

Thanks, happymamma2. After submission of Schedule A, how many days did it take to PPR?
Can you please share your timeline?

Hi
I also thought like u and asked for clarification. Forum friends gives whatever they experienced. Exactly we do not know on how the Local visa office is functioning. I came to the stage where u mentioned on 18th October. I hope the status changes once Visa officer has done his scrutiny of the application.

Hello,

Need help please ! I am August 2017 AOR and sitting in NA2 for 2 months. I have non-accompanying spouse in my application. Yesterday, I have received additional documents request that i need to upload the following additional documents;

Forms name: INCLUSION OF A SPOUSE ON A PERMANENT RESIDENCE APPLICATION- questions for principal applicant and questions for spouse

Is it usual ? Any reason for concern ? Any assistance on how to fill up the forms will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi
Does Visa decisions are made during holidays?

Dear All;

I am hoping that by posting, I can get some help regarding my current situation.

My details are:

AOR: 14th August 2017
BC PNP - CEC
Current employer provided support in me gaining PNP (which in turn gave me 600 additional thus triggered a ITA). My current work permit is attached to my current employer.
All documentation including ADR have been submitted to CIC. Current status is as follows (and has been since end of October 2017):

Application status
We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents We do not need additional documents.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Biometrics We do not need your fingerprints. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

  • Over the past week I have been offered another job with another employer in the same province (Same NOC) which would increase my wage considerably.
  • My question to the group is - Is there a way of taking this potential new role w/o it effecting my PR application process? Is it a simple process and How do I go about this if so?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

You mentioned your current work permit is attached to the current employer.
In that case you are not eligible to work for another employer until you get PR.

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there's anyway to find our application status. Can someone throw some light?

The only way to get detailed status of your application is by ordering GCMS note.....email or call will always give you generic response...

Yes email to CPC ottawa will give you generic response. I never called CIC, but I think after you bypass the IVR, you can actually talk to an agent, however I doubt that they will actually give you much details...if you are waiting for more than 4 months...my 2 cent is order gcms...
