Yes, if I go for urgent option, i'll get it within 4 days.
if you can get new passport quickly then i think you may get new and request to update details and send new passport.
But choice is yours. its just an opinion. visas should be longer if you have an option.

No bro :( no luck yet
Still waiting I don’t understand what exactly they’re trying to take out my application it’s been 7 months now. Their should a mini-max time that’s not how it should be.
Going by the posts on here, typically basic-type of background checks have taken about 3-odd months. Perhaps there's something in your profile or in the profile of one of your immediate family member's profile and that's why it could be taking longer

Hey bryanna
Well I didn’t get what do you mean “when say there’s something in my profile” and I’m the only applicant so why would they concider any family member ?

7 months aren’t enough for a BG ?

Thanks

Sometimes IRCC could consider close family members too. Generally, if an immediate family member is inadmissible then other family members could also become inadmissible.

It's possible that one investigation could have given results that triggered off additional checks. No idea. BTW the type and extent of the background checks may/may not show up in your case notes.

No, not really especially if IRCC has sought information on you from multiple agencies in other countries

Ok so immediate family members mean parents and siblings or all relatives ? Like cousins uncles etc etc

And I didn’t understand the last part ?
So 7 months are not enough for IRCC to gather all the information?

If IRCC has sought out the information from agencies than what’s the problem ?

which location you have applied?
is it TRV or immigration?
Do yo have past travelling history?
have you ever refused visa to any other country or been deported?

all of above need consideration.

Parents, siblings and/or spouse

No, it's possible that seven months is not adequate time. In some cases, background checks have taken more than one year (and are possibly still on-going). Do check the thread for Indian army personnel applicants by 'Prayas'.

IRCC is dependent on these third-party sources for the reports. IRCC cannot give TRV decisions until these reports come in

One question:
What was/is your immigration status in Australia? And how did you get it? What was your initial immigration status when you first went to Australia?

Like I had mentioned earlier, maybe it is your stay in Saudi. But, we won't know for sure.

You could send another CSE/email. Maybe the case worker will check the status of the security clearances and contact the third party agencies

I too visited Saudia twice in my life to perform Umrah.

Now visiting or staying in saudia is might be the reason alright but travel history does matter when you visited 23 countries of the world and some of them multiple times like EU, UK, US.
